当前,公安院校学生的科研能力不容乐观。这与公安院校科研育人理念缺失、科研与人才培养相脱离、科研育人机制缺乏有很大关系。对此,公安院校应树立科研育人理念,处理好科学研究、学科建设、师资队伍建设与创新型警务人才培养的关系,建立促进科研与教学相结合、科研与育人相结合的保障制度,把学生培养成为社会所需要的具有创新精神的卓越警务人才。
