The Yeh Ting Tuanbu Infantry Battalion in the Shanghai Garrison District is stationed in the ancient city of Songjiang, Shanghai. The original barracks were built in the early 1950s with brick-wood structure and sloping roof cottages. They were deep, dark, poorly ventilated, and wet on the ground; after decades of natural erosion, the phenomena of leakage, weathering, etc. were serious, and some even appeared uneven. Subsidence and cracks directly affect the normal life and training of officers and soldiers. According to the spirit of the circular issued by the General Staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, the General Political Department, and the General Administration of the People’s Liberation Army issued in 1987 on the use of six to seven years to concentrate manpower, material resources, and financial resources and focus on solving the housing problems of the troops below the camp, the Nanjing Military Region Logistics Department in 1988
