The flue-cured tobacco leaves different parts (tip, middle, base) due to different light conditions, the physical and chemical properties are also different. The difference was related to the pitch and leaf number of tobacco plants. Pitch size and leaf number is one of the main biological characteristics of flue-cured tobacco varieties.
