京城5月,鲜花盛开。由北京市委宣传部等单位共同举办的北京春季书市,在位于天安门左侧的劳动人民文化宫内举行。历时12天,共接待读者40多万人。在“五一”节及双休日,每天逛书市的人都有六七万人。文化宫的苍松翠柏之间,书如海,人如潮,成为北京春季文化生活的一道独特景观。尽管今年因为庆祝建国50周年,天安门广场正在修建,可是,从清晨到傍晚,人们仍络绎不绝地涌向书市。人们漫步在数百个摊位前,如同遨游于书海之中。老少三代、三口之家同逛书市,极为普遍。本届书市有80多家出版社,150多家书店参加,设有800多个摊位,同时还组织了丰富多彩的文化活动。人们在书市上可以听各种讲座,进
