1988年2月25日辽宁省彰武县两家子乡发生了4.8级(ML:5.2)地震。这次地震是近10年来在我省境内发生的最大一次地震,也是1940年8月5日熊岳4 3/4级地震以来,发生在我省海城一营口震区以外陆地上的最大一次地震。对于这次地震,在国家地震局和辽宁省委、省政府的正确领导下,我省地震系统全体职工同心协力,专群结合,震前有所察觉,做出了一定程度的预报,震后妥善地处理了一系列的地震社会问题,取得了一定的
On February 25, 1988, a magnitude 4.8 (ML: 5.2) earthquake occurred in Liangzi Township, Zhangwu County, Liaoning Province. This earthquake is the largest earthquake in our province in the past 10 years and the largest one outside the Haichengkouyingkou area in our province since the 4/4 earthquake of Xiong Yue on August 5, 1940 earthquake.
