The great success of the war crimes criminals educated by the Chinese government and the Chinese people is universally acclaimed. Thousands of Japanese war-infiltrated war criminals returned to Japan’s native land and regarded the Chinese people as “reborn parents,” tirelessly calling for signs that “Japan and China will never again fight again.” This is even more spectacular to the world. How yesterday’s enemy became a friend of today. How yesterday’s war madman turned into an anti-war friend of today? Faced with this legendary issue, people are thinking, exploring and looking for them. Mystery. As a researcher, I, as a researcher, went to Fushun War Criminals Management Office in April 1964 to conduct a field investigation: I went to the prison for two months and interviewed the staff members to read the pen war prisoners and listened to the prisoners talked about. Ten years later, in March 1975, as a newspaper reporter, I participated in the last batch of prisoners of war and amnesty held at the Fushun War Criminals Management Office. More than 20 years later, now, I will organize these materials into writing to readers.
