In recent years, wheat rejuvenation and intercropping have developed rapidly and played an important role in raising the multiple cropping index and increasing grain yield per unit area. From 1990 to 1992, the area of irrigated land for wheat in three years was 92,160,210 mu, respectively, and that of the latter two years accounted for 47.5% and 74% of the total area, respectively.
