本文从我国经济发展对高职教育提出的新要求与高等院校翻译专业人才培养的现状两方面探讨了高职院校设置应用型翻译本科专业的必要性。认为其必要性主要体现在以下三方面:我国的产业结构调整使得发展本科层次的高职教育迫在眉睫;我国翻译产业的爆炸式增长以及社会对专业翻译人才的巨大需求,导致我国翻译人才短缺;目前高等院校的翻译人才培养无法满足中国各个行业的不断发展对不同层次的职业化翻译人才的需求。
This paper discusses the necessity of setting up an applied undergraduate major in higher vocational colleges from two aspects: the new demand of higher education and the current situation of the cultivation of translators in higher education in our country. The author believes that its necessity is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: the adjustment of industrial structure in our country urges the development of undergraduate higher education; the explosive growth of our country’s translation industry and the tremendous demand for professional translators in our country lead to a shortage of translators in our country; The training of translators in institutions of higher education can not meet the continuous development of various industries in China and at different levels of professional translators need.
