为了加快国民经济的发展速度,党中央决定大量引进外国先进技术,其规模和速度,都将大大超过过去的二十九年。这是一个伟大的战略决策,具有极其深远的意义。坚定不移地将这个伟大的战略决策付诸实施,必将使我国的国民经济比较快地转到新的技术基础上来,缩小同世界先进水平的差距,大大加快实现四个现代化的步伐。
In order to speed up the pace of development of the national economy, the CPC Central Committee has decided that a large number of foreign advanced technologies should be imported. The size and speed of the introduction of foreign advanced technology will greatly exceed those of the past 29 years. This is a great strategic decision, with far-reaching significance. Unswervingly putting this great strategic decision into practice will inevitably turn our national economy to a new technological foundation faster, narrow the gap with the world advanced level and greatly accelerate the pace of the realization of the four modernizations.
