英语课堂中的沉默现象往往被视作师生间的交流失败,在一定程度上反映了学生对课堂不感兴趣,甚至对抗的消极心理。文章首先探讨分析了课堂沉默的两种表现形式以及造成这种现象的原因。进而阐述了造成课堂沉默现象这些因素与教师的提问策略以及学生自身的情况有关,最后从教师的提问方法、提问技巧等方面以及学生自身提出了一些改进措施。
Silence in the English classroom is often seen as a failure of exchanges between teachers and students, to a certain extent, reflect the students are not interested in the classroom, and even negative psychological confrontation. The article first explores and analyzes the two manifestations of classroom silence and the reasons for this phenomenon. Then elaborated the factors which caused the silence in the classroom. These factors were related to the teacher’s questioning strategy and the situation of the students themselves. Finally, some improvement measures were put forward, such as teacher’s questioning method, questioning skills and the students themselves.
