南昌铁路局第一工程团的广大工人、干部和革命知识分子,遵照毛主席关于“打破洋框框,走自己工业发展道路”的教导,坚持实践第一的观点,在学习了兄弟单位铁路双曲拱桥的设计与施工经验的基础上,创造性的在某线建成了第一座净跨为56米高近50米的钢筋混凝土管芯拱桥,这种桥型除了具有双曲拱桥的优点之外,还采用了无支架的施工方法。从拱的结构来看,它接近于箱形截面,整体作用较好,适用于山区较大跨度的高架桥或深水桥。由于它才诞生不久,虽然第一座桥的设计与施工方法基本上是成功的,但是“一个正确的认识,往往需要经过由物质到精神,由精神到物质,即由实践到认识,由认识到实践这样多次的反复,才能够完成。”因而这种桥型的设计与施工还需要在今后的实践中不断丰富和完善。现在我们仅把此桥的设计与施工简介于后,供同志们参考。
