由叶县科委、叶县药检所、叶县计划生育办公室联合试制的新型的女用口服节育药一、二号,是一九七九年开始的,于一九八○年进行了鉴定。该节育药在一九八一年许昌地区科技成果大会上,受到了许昌行政公署科技成果的三等奖。节育药一号,是较长效的避孕药,育龄妇女在月经来后第五天服药一次,可避孕三个月,且服后无不良反应。自一九八○年至今,服一号药者达四百多人,最长的服用已近三年,有效率达97％以上。忌用红糖水送服。
A new type of female oral birth control medicine I and II, jointly developed by Yexian Science and Technology Commission, Yexian Drug Prosecution Office and Yexian Family Planning Office, started in 1979 and was appraised in 1980.
