李铭是中国近代著名银行家,上海金融业核心人物之一,与中国银行的张嘉璈、交通银行的钱新之、上海商业储蓄银行的陈光甫并称为近代上海银行家四巨头,更有学者称这四人为“四大名旦”。本文以收藏于上海市档案馆的一封李铭亲笔书信为考察对象,对该书信本身包含的相关史实进行考证,以纠正个别错讹,并结合档案史料对其进行解读,以揭示李铭在浙江地方实业银行时期的主要作为,以及李铭与其好友陈朵如在浙江地方实业银行时期的紧密合作关系。
Li Ming is one of the most famous modern bankers in China and one of the key figures in Shanghai’s financial industry. He is one of the key figures in China’s financial industry. He is also one of the four giant bankers of Shanghai in the modern era, including Zhang Jiabao of Bank of China, Qian Xinzhi of Bank of Communications, Chen Guangfu of Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank, These four are “four famous ”. In this paper, a collection of Li Ming’s personal correspondence in the Shanghai Archives is taken as the object of investigation, and the relevant historical facts contained in the correspondence are investigated to correct individual errors and interpret them in accordance with the historical records of the archives so as to reveal that Li Ming The chief acts of the local industrial banks and the close cooperation between Li Ming and his friend Chen Duo-ru during the period of Zhejiang Industrial Bank.
