论述了为提高我国科技期刊影响因子,打造中国的科技期刊品牌,我国科技期刊应加强的几个方面。首先,科技期刊的编辑部门应通过切实有效的选题组稿工作争取到学术质量高、创新性强的文章并予以快速发表,以引起科技工作者对期刊的足够注意和重视;其次,要通过提供详实的英文摘要和将图、表内容用英文表述等方法使国外的科技工作者能看懂期刊上发表的文章的主要内容,并借助抽印本的宣传作用提升期刊形象;第三,要重视编辑人员的继续教育,并培养一支高素质的编辑队伍作为人才保障;第四,应对参考文献引用的适度和准确性给予足够的重视,避免为片面追求影响因子而可能产生的引文失实现象;此外,科技期刊的编辑部门还应通过其积极有效的工作使作者认识到扩大我国科技期刊的国际影响、提升其国际地位并使之跻身于国际先进科技期刊之林也是义不容辞的责任,从而给予积极的配合。我国科技期刊还应在开拓发行渠道、实现一刊多版(印刷版、电子版、网络版等)及与国外科技期刊出版发行部门联合办刊等方面进行探索。
