本文研究了7个不同类型水稻品种发育过程中对16小时长日与10小时短日不同组合处理反应的特性。根据长短日照不同组合对生育期的影响和长日处理不同天数后达到抽穗所需短日天数的不同,观察到晚籼品种对长日反应有3个不同特点的时期,即“长日促进期”,“长日抑制期”和“长日补偿期”。几个早中籼品种没有“长日抑制期”。2个粳稻品种的“长日促进期”不显著,这是粳稻与籼稻不同之处。鉴于“长日促进期”的存在,作者认为水稻品种的基本营养生育期是长、短日照共同作用的结果。因此把水稻的基本营养生育期分为2个亚期,即长日亚期(BVP-Ⅰ)和短日亚期(BVP-Ⅱ)。从上述结果出发,对水稻某些品种早期短日处理出现生育期延长的现象,光周期的“年龄效应”,“定日性”,“定期性”等生育期现象作了讨论和解释。

Therefore, the basic vegetative growth stages of rice were divided into two sub-periods, namely, the long-day sub-period (BVP-I) and the short-day sub-period (BVP-II). Based on the above results, the phenomenon of prolonged growth period, the ”age effect“, ”definite date“ and ”regularity" of photoperiod were observed and explained in early days of some rice varieties.
