锁子甲是古代战争中使用的一种形制奇特的金属铠甲,它可能是黑海北部的斯基泰人首先发明的,时间应为公元前5世纪或更早。作为一种外来的铠甲形制,锁子甲从进入中国西域地区至最终传入中原,历时三个多世纪,这一过程曲折、漫长而有趣。古老的锁子甲在今日西方早已失去原先的兵器属性,而几乎完全成为一种文化承载物。这种情况在锁子甲入华后,则发生得更早也更广泛一些。故之,其亦成为观察外来文化现象内化于我的一个有趣视角。
Chain mail armor is a form of strange metal armor used in ancient wars, it may be the first Black Sea Scythian first invented, time should be the 5th century BC or earlier. As a foreign armor-shaped system, chain armor from entering the Western Regions of China and eventually spread to the Central Plains, lasted more than three centuries, the process twists and turns, long and interesting. The ancient chain armor has lost its original weaponry in the West today and has almost completely become a cultural carrier. This situation in the lock armor into China, then occurred earlier and more extensively. Therefore, it has also become an interesting perspective to observe the internalization of alien cultural phenomena in me.
