我非常喜欢读西京的大作,尤其对古代人物的描写,既飘逸又轻松,线和墨的运用很纯熟。看得出西京是很勤奋、聪明的。当今的人物画坛分为:把人当人画,把人当画画;也有人把人当东西画的。我赞成把人当人画,而西京则把人当人画,也把人当画画。他画得精深、画得帅、画得利索,属于重量级的画家。他的人物画是里程碑式的。
