饮流斋是曲学大家许之衡的室名,偶名环翠楼。许之衡(1877-1935)字守白,号饮流,别署曲隐道人、冷道人,广东番禺人。早年曾留学日本,回国后在北京大学、北平师范大学、北平女子文理学院的国文系担任曲学教授。1933年参加北平昆弋学会。著有《中国音乐小史》、《戏曲史》、《曲律易知》、《曲律通论》、《词学研究》、《守白词》以及《饮流斋说瓷》等多部著作,并撰《玉虎坠》、《锦瑟记》、《霓裳艳》剧作三种。
