对可毒杀家蝇幼虫的苏云金杆菌中华亚种(Bucillus thuringiensis subsp. chinensis)CT-43菌株进行了质粒消除处理,从中分离出15株突变株,其中7个突变株缺失了140kD ICP(杀虫晶体蛋白Insecticidal crystal protein),8个菌株缺失了130和68 kD ICP,缺失140 kD ICP的菌株同时失去了苏云金素的产生能力。对这些菌株进行质粒检测的结果表明,130 kD和68 kD ICP的产生与一个大质粒L-1有关,而对家蝇幼虫有毒性的140 kD ICP的产生与另一个大质粒L-2有关,同时,质粒L-2还决定着该菌株苏云金素的产生。
