Budd-Chiari syndrome (Budd-Chiaris Syndrome) refers to the hepatic vein or adjacent inferior vena cava partially or completely blocked caused by the liver bleeding disorder as the main manifestation of the syndrome. Since October 1997, we guided balloon-dilatation of inferior vena cava and stent placement in 11 cases of Budd-Chiari syndrome with inferior vena cava obstruction.
