保税区是我国继经济特区、经济技术开发区、沿海开放城市、沿海开放地区、国家高新技术产业开发区之后,经国务院批准设立的新的经济性区域。由于保税区实行比其他开放地区更加灵活、优惠的政策,按照国际惯例运作,已成为我国与国际市场接轨的“桥头堡”。因此,保税区在发展建设伊始就成为国内外客商密切关注的焦点。 1990年6月2日,经中央批准,上海市创办了我国第一个保税区——上海外高桥保税区。1992年以来,国务院又陆续批准设立了12个保税区,即天津港、大连、张家港、深圳沙头角、深圳福田、福州、海口、厦门象屿、广州、青
The bonded area is a new economic area approved by the State Council after China’s special economic zones, economic and technological development zones, open coastal cities, open coastal areas and national high-tech industrial development zones.
