The truth of the news is pursued by all journalists. The performance of the U.S. media in the Iraq war has given rise to reason to doubt whether the U.S. media, which has always been proud of the authenticity of the news, has always been a hypocrite wearing a mask. The two characters selected in this article are from the top media in the United States today: Jason Blair, a New York Times journalist who fraudulently fabricated false news, and Sonya Nazario, a Los Angeles Times correspondent with near-harsh demands on the authenticity of the news. It seems that neither of them can truly represent the American press, but from their examples one can conclude that the pursuit of truth by the media has always been a mirror of the pursuit of good faith in society.
