国家科委、中共中央宣传部和新闻出版署,为总结交流办刊经验、提高科技期刊质量、繁荣科技出版事业,更好地为我国经济建设服务,于1992年联合组织了全国优秀科技期刊评比活动。参加评比的科技期刊,包括国家批准公开出版发行的综合类、学术类、技术类、科普类和检索类科技期刊。在全国约3600种科技期刊中共评出一等奖50种,二等奖100种,三等奖201种。评比表彰与经验交流大会于1992年12月26日至28日在北京召开。国家科委副主任周平、中国科学院院长周光召、中共中央宣传部副部长郑必坚和翟泰丰、新闻出版署副署长王强华、国家科协副主席庄逢甘等领导出席了开幕式,并为荣获一等奖的期刊代表颁发了奖牌和证
National Science and Technology Commission, Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and Press and Publication Administration, in order to summarize the experience of exchange and publication, improve the quality of sci-tech periodicals, prosper the publishing of science and technology, and better serve the economic construction of our country, jointly organized the evaluation of outstanding sci-tech periodicals in 1992 activity. Scientific and technical periodicals that participate in the competition include scientific and technical journals, popular science journals and search journals approved by the state for publication. In about 3,600 kinds of scientific and technological journals nationwide, 50 first-class awards, 100 second-class awards and 201 third-class awards were awarded. Appraisal Commendation and Experience Sharing Conference was held in Beijing from December 26 to 28, 1992. Zhou Pingzhao, vice president of the State Science and Technology Commission, Zhou Guangzhao, president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zheng Bijian and Zhai Taifeng, vice propagators of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Qianghua, deputy director of the Press and Publication Administration, Zhuang Fenggan and other vice presidents of the CAST attended the opening ceremony and won the first prize.
