重油蓄热裂解,污水排放量大,且污水中含有油、苯、酚、氰、硫等多种毒物。把这种污水经过平流式隔油池自然沉降,分去轻重焦油和非溶解性粒状杂质,再经三级冷却后,分别送洗气箱、洗气塔冷却裂解气。由于过程蒸汽冷凝而多余的水经过隔油,两级空气浮选,石英砂过滤,送污蒸汽锅炉,产生的污蒸送裂解用作过程蒸汽。用这种方法,污水不必排放。
