二十世纪后期以来,世界艺术变化发展很大,这要求我们美术院校的教学也要大力引进新的观念,新的方法,新的技术信息,争取把我们的艺术起点提高到一个与世界大体相近的水平线上。很多人很刻苦,作品非常多也在认真探索,但我想如果不攒钱去一趟西方,去亲眼看一下欧美架上绘画现今的模样与水平,摸清他们现在想的是什么,我们就只能像是在桌子底下玩牌,基面就比人家低,如何跨进到前沿去呢。
