盆景《泰岱风骨》(见《花木盆景》杂志1998年第一期封面)是第四届亚太地区盆景赏石会议暨展览会的盆景获奖作品。从照片上看,该作品是一盆造型奇异的真柏盆景。盆景底部以六角形栗色几案相托,简洁之中透露出典雅;以灰黄色带瓣状裙边的圆盆栽植,有后土洪荒之概;树桩干叶分明,干古拙诡谲、蟠曲矫劲,为灰白色,像图腾,像波涛,更像一棵饱经沧桑的泰山古柏,古风绵长,似经百年锤炼,浑厚质朴之中透露出刚劲、泰然、雄壮、稳健的气质;树冠青翠欲滴、葱郁茂盛,显示出蓬勃盎然的生命活力。整幅作品虬力盘张,苍劲浑厚,在古朴苍茂之中呈现出雄伟壮观、伟岸挺拔、刚正不阿的艺术形象;苍劲之中焕发出无限的生命力,在岁月的斧斫、时光的雕刻中愈益显现出在历史积淀中那种超越时空、横跨今古的生命之美。盆景的题名是《泰岱风骨》,由此我们可以领会到作者的创作主旨。作者意欲通过盆景艺术创作,形象地描绘出刚健、崇高、雄伟、壮丽、浑厚、凝重、简约、古朴、苍郁、悠久的泰岱
