随着社会科技的不断进步与发展,社会对学生的素质要求及能力要求也不断地提高,我国传统的教育模式与机制对此高要求也显得有点力不从心,需要依据时代的进步来不断的改革。而素质教育不论在任何时代都是至关重要的,但在新时期下单纯的素质教育远远不足以满足社会的需求。本文主要针对学生的素质教育展开论述,讲述了在高职英语教学中引入素质教育的重要性及素质教育在高职英语教学中的应用研究,能够在一定程度上提高英语教学中素质教育的质量,提高高职院校学生的综合素质,希望对广大教育同仁有所帮助。
