自从1961年2月广州日报合并于羊城晚报以后,羊城晚报原有的办报方针不变,但是要比过去更全面地报道广州市工业生产以及人民的经济生活。因此,我们报纸的经济报道任务加重了。羊城晚报是在大城市发行的综合性的报纸,因此,它的宣传报道要坚持面向广大群众,直接地或间接地回答人民群众最关心的经济生活问题。在这一年的实践中;为了使经济报道面向群众,我们的经济报道大体上包括下面一些内容。
Since the merger of the Guangzhou Daily in February 1961 with the Yangcheng Evening Post, the original guidelines of the Yangcheng Evening News have remained unchanged, but the industrial production and the economic life of the people in Guangzhou have been reported more fully than in the past. As a result, the economic reporting tasks of our newspaper have been aggravated. The Yangcheng Evening News is a comprehensive newspaper distributed in major cities. Therefore, its propaganda and reporting should be based on the broad masses of the people and directly or indirectly answer the people’s most concerned economic and social issues. In the course of the year, our economic coverage generally includes the following for the purpose of making economic coverage available to the masses.
