主要使用Wells和Coppersmith(1994)汇编的震源参数数据库,研究了地震断层的地震矩M_0、平均位移δ、破裂宽度W和破裂长度L之间的标度关系。结果表明:地震矩M_0与破裂长度L的关系大致为:M_0~L~2;大地震的破裂长度与破裂宽度无关;平均位移δ与破裂长度L的关系大致为:δ~L;平均位移与破裂宽度无关。因此,Scholz(1982)提出的乙模型比Romanowicz(1992)提出的W模型更适合于描述地震断层的标度律。
Using the source parameter database compiled by Wells and Coppersmith (1994), the scale relationship between seismic moment M_0, average displacement δ, rupture width W and rupture length L is studied. The results show that the relation between the seismic moment M0 and the rupture length L is approximately: M0 ~ L ~ 2; the rupture length of the large earthquake has nothing to do with the rupture width; the relationship between the mean displacement δ and the rupture length L is approximately: δ ~ L; Broken width has nothing to do. Therefore, the B model proposed by Scholz (1982) is more suitable than the W model proposed by Romanowicz (1992) for describing the scale law of seismic faults.
