湖北省罗田县加大低保工作力度,取得良好效果。到6月下旬,全县已纳入低保的有3601户、7833人,其本做到了应保尽保。其主要做法是严把“六关”: 一、严把政策宣传关。组成低保工作指导组,深入到厂矿企业和乡镇,将《城市居民最低生活保障条例》及有关政策法规公布上墙,反复宣传,做到家喻户晓,让困难居民掌握政策,自我判断是否属于低保范围,并确定是否提出低保申请。
