根据对世界多数国家现行著作权法律有关图书馆可适用的复制权例外规定分析,从适用复制权例外的目的上划分,将图书馆适用的复制权例外归纳为五种类型:图书馆为保存或替换制作复制件而适用的复制权例外,图书馆为他馆提供复制件而适用的复制权例外,图书馆为私人使用提供复制件而适用的复制权例外,图书馆为管理的需要或提高服务水平制作复制件而适用的复制权例外,以及图书馆为研究或学习制作复制件而适用的复制权例外。本文重点剖析图书馆为研究或学习制作复制件而适用的复制权例外。
