使用1400/850W的微波炉,在实验室研究了微波加热磁铁矿球团时球团矿的温度变化规律、干燥特点、生球强度和焙烧后球团的岩相特征,并对固结机理进行了探讨。结果表明,和普通干燥焙烧方法相比,微波法干燥焙烧球团矿温度上升迅速且内部温度分布均匀;干燥速度很快,干燥过程中不出现裂纹和爆裂现象;焙烧后的磁性球团矿主要由连晶充分的Fe_2O_3组成;每个成品球的强度为170~230kg;焙烧时不会出现过热.
