In a neuron kinetic model that introduced T-type calcium currents and hyperpolarized-activated h-currents, an integer multiple of the lost rhythm was modeled. The results show that the occurrence of this rhythm has a deterministic kinetic mechanism, and its irregular pattern is a chaotic oscillatory state.
