2012年末,上海工艺美院举办了“璀璨纷繁——吴智苗族银饰大师作品展”。展出的作品有三个部分:一是吴智大师三年来在学院制作的苗族传统银饰作品;二是吴大师的小儿子吴国荣的作品;三是学院首饰专业学生在吴大师指导下完成的作品。这也是来自贵州少数民族地区的吴智大师第一个作品展,参观者被这些精美的银饰作品深深吸引,赞叹不已。展览体现了工艺传承与创新的探索和努力,也引出了对工艺文化传承的思考。
At the end of 2012, Shanghai Art & Design Institute held a series of exhibitions entitled “Wu Cui Miao Silver Master Works”. Works on display are in three parts: one is masterpiece Wu Zhi’s masterpieces of Miao’s traditional silverware produced at the college in the past three years; the other is Wu Guorong’s little son Wu’s masterpiece; and the other is a work done by college major students under the guidance of Master Wu. This is also the first exhibition of Master Wu Zhi from Guizhou’s ethnic minority areas. Visitors are deeply attracted by these exquisite silverware works. The exhibition embodies the exploration and efforts of inheritance and innovation of craftsmanship, and also brings forward the thinking on the inheritance of craft culture.
