“中华多民族文学史观”以民族国家作为建构中国文学史的基石,摆脱了以往文学史观片面关注历史线性纵向发展的弊端,在关注历史发展整体性的基础上从史实间相互联系和相互关系的层面上,通过“时”、“空”两个纬度的交合凸现了“横向”上被湮没的历史史实。“中华多民族文学史观”的价值和意义不仅体现在史学层面,还表现在更新研究观念和沟通的尝试上。
