政務院華北行政委員會為貫徹毛主席增產節約的偉大號召,在‘三反’、‘五反’運動勝利的基礎上迅速地開展華北全區愛國增產節約運动,為將要到來的全國大規模經濟建設作好準備,於六月十一日至十五日召開了華北區工業生產競賽會議。出席這次會議的有華北五省二市及省屬市的人民政府、中共省(市)委企業党委、工會、青年團等負責幹部以及華北各大國營廠礦的負責人。會議並邀請了中央及華北级有關机关、團體的負責人蒞會指導。
