清代封建社会发展到19世纪已日薄西山,而正在兴起发展的西方资本主义伴随着对中国的军事侵略、政治左右、经济惨透,思想上也涌来巨潮。在民族矛盾尖锐和民族危机日益加剧的历史条件下,一些具有爱国思想的有识之士从中寻找谋求民族自救自强的工具,历史哲学在中西文化冲突和交流的进行曲中领起了时代的风骚。但时过境迁,它最终还是走到了自己的尽头。
The development of the feudal society in the Qing Dynasty had become less and less significant in the 19th century. However, the emerging Western capitalism was accompanied by a huge influx of thinking along with its military aggression, politics and economic perjury toward China. Under the historical conditions of sharp ethnic contradictions and increasing national crisis, some people of insight with patriotic ideals seek for tools to seek national self-help and self-help. Historical philosophy has played a leading role in the march between Chinese and Western cultures. But the passage of time, it eventually came to their own end.
