JS-59绳索取心双管钻具（见图），是小口径φ59mm系列绳索取心双管钻探机具，适合于采用泥浆钻进。JS-59绳索取心双管钻具是1983年北京市地质机械厂与核工业部华东地质勘探局261队联合研制的产品，厂方负责钻具设计、制造，队方负责生产试验，1986年5月，由核工业部华东地质勘探局、北京市地质矿产局联合主持通过了技术鉴定。JS-59绳索取心双管钻具于1984年7月，在核工业部华东地质勘探局261队进行生产试验，到1985年
