Recently, the MEP issued a public notice on Catalog of Imported Waste Management (2017). It is understood that, according to the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Solid Waste Pollution”, “Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal” “Solid Waste Import Management Measures” and the relevant laws and regulations, MEP, Ministry of Commerce, Development and Reform Commission, State General Administration of Customs and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly discussed the current Catalog of Solid Waste Prohibited for Import, Catalog of Solid Waste Restricted Imported Materials Used as Raw Materials and Non-restricted Imported Materials Available as Raw Materials
