Van Gogh can be said to be a more crazy than Dali painter, fanatical in his own manifestations, with gorgeous colors, bold strokes to express fanatical feelings. Owen Stone referred to his famous biography of Van Gogh as ”longing for life,“ grasping Van Gogh’s character more accurately. In 1901, Van Gogh’s painting exhibition was held for the first time at the Heinrich Gallery in Paris. After a painting exhibition, a Viennese poet Haumannsdal wrote a review of Van Gogh. ”These days, I was in a bad mood ... I walked into a gallery in a secluded alley accidentally and looked at an exhibition of painters. I was shocked by the scenes of torn landscapes, still life and several farmers who eat potatoes. I have to admit miraculously a strong blow to the trees, the yellow and green ground, the broken stone paths, the tin kettle, the pots, the table, and the rough chairs, each with a new life. It is the light of life projected to me from the horrific chaos of life, from the bottomless abyss, which I perceive, not comprehend!
