针对当前我国供给侧改革的严峻形势,国内多位学者的研究表明,作为世界上最大发展中国家的中国,高校在作为一个人口较为密集的人员聚集场所,具有一定稳固的体育消费群体,并且大多都配置了经验十分丰富的体育师资资源和体育运动基础设施,所以,成为体育产业发展快速的地方不容置疑;因此,大力发展高校的体育相关产业,促进市场化体育服务发展方向是我国体育事业能够更好地适应市场经济体制改革的必然趋势,也是适应我国全民健身运动的必然要求要。高校体育产业,作为促进大学生健康的重要内容,越来越被许多大学所高度关注。
