广州市交通运输中等专业学校是一所全日制国家级重点中专学校。学校位于广州市北郊嘉禾,占地80亩,教学用建筑面积43000平方米。现有学生3625人。教职工194人,其中专任教师90人,高级职称18人,中级职称59人。广州市交通运输中等专业学校创建于1964年,为广州市市属中专学校,行政隶属于广州市公用事业管理局。学校设立党委会,实行校长负责制,对全校教职实行全员聘任制。学校于1980年被广州市人民政府确定为“市重点中专学校”;1994年被广东省人民政府确定为“省级重点中专学校”;1996年被广东省高等教育厅授予“文明校园”称号;2000年5月被教育部确定为“国家级重点中专学校”;2000年9月被广州市人民政府授予“广州市教育工作优秀单位”称号;2001年1月被教育部确定为“教育部教育管理信
Guangzhou Transportation Secondary Vocational School is a full-time national key secondary school.
