人体不同年龄的发育水平不同,机能能力不同,承受生理负荷量大小能力亦不同。在一定范围内刺激负荷越大,机体产生的反应越强。最大负荷量的运用是发展高度工作能力的重要因素,正确运用这一原则就有可能最大限度地发展人体机能。为探索体育教学和运动训练的适宜负荷强度,保证学生的健康,增强体质,提高运动能力,而寻求对人体机能状况的客观有效评定方法。它将为合理的安排体育教学、训练提供科学依据。用定量运动负荷试验对机体进行机能评定是国内外广泛采用的方法。
