7月20日获悉:上海贝尔公司开发出基于S12交换系统的Internet拨号接入旁路系统,由此,在下改变组网结构的情况下,困扰电信部门的拨号上网拥塞问题便可以得到彻底解决。在国内外同行中,该项技术尚属首创。与现有的旁路技术相比,该技术能为我国电信运营部门解决拨号上网问题、提供公共上网平台业务节省数亿美元的投资。同时,该系统还使电信部门对网民包月计费成为可能。另外,该技术还为我国现有的交换系统提供了一种向数据网演进的有效方法。另讯日前,上海贝尔授权其ISDN终端产品上海地区总代理,与上海北大方正电脑科技公司在上海签署了合作协议:在上海地区销售的方正电脑家用ISDN款机型中,将捆绑上海贝尔的ISDN终端设备。这是我国的大型电信设备供应商首次与电脑终端供应商在销售方面进行合作。
