南非盎格鲁黄金公司最近研发的一项新的采矿技术将改变矿业的“游戏规则”。该技术的关键在于解决了钻井和回填问题,并且不使用矿井爆破技术。使用该技术可以进行无人采矿,因而实现了矿井全年全天候生产。该技术已成功试用于黄金矿井开采,未来铂族金属等其它矿业都将从该新技术中受益。该技术将为盎格鲁黄金公司带来3000万盎司的黄金储备。新技术并不需要添加新的基础设施。
A new mining technology recently developed by AngloGold in South Africa will change mining’s “rules of the game.” The key to this technology is to solve the problems of drilling and backfilling, and not to use mine blasting technology. The use of this technology allows for unmanned mining, thus enabling the mine to be produced around the clock. The technology has been successfully tested in gold mining, the future of other metals such as platinum group metals will benefit from the new technology. The technology will bring 30 million ounces of gold reserves to AngloGold. New technologies do not need to add new infrastructure.
