教育部颁布的《面向21世纪教育振兴行动计划》提出:“素质教育要从幼儿教育阶段抓起”。《中共中央国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》中也明确规定:“实施素质教育应贯穿于幼儿教育、中小学教育、职业教育、成人教育、高等教育等各级各类教育”。幼儿教师是教师队伍中的一个重要组成部分,要适应社会发展的需要,适应科教兴国的需要,适应素质教育的需要,就必须面对改革的新形势,新的挑战,必须注重自身素质的提高。
