今年4月6日,是中国海员工会成立75周年纪念日。 中国海员是中国工人阶级的一部分,是随着中国工业的航运业的发展而形成的一支工人队伍。历史上的中国海员深受帝国主义、封建主义和官僚资本主义的剥削和压迫,生活在社会的底层。在漫长的岁月中,中国海员在与风浪的搏击中成长,在与反动势力的斗争中壮大。祖国的江河湖海哺育了海员热爱祖国、忠于人民的赤子之心;残酷的剥削、深重的压迫,铸造了海员强烈的反抗精神和对真理的执著追求;惊涛骇浪的考验,锻炼了海员不畏艰险、顽强拼搏的胆魄;革命斗争风雨的洗礼,塑造了海员团结奋斗、无私奉献的品格。这种在特殊的环境中产生、在时代浪潮的陶冶中不断升华的崇高精神,在一代又一代海员身上延续、发展,教育和鼓舞着千百万海员,在中国共产党的领导下,始终站在革命斗争的
April 6 this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese seafarers’ union. Chinese seafarers are part of the working class in China and are a contingent of workers formed by the development of China’s industrial shipping industry. Historically Chinese seafarers were deeply exploited and oppressed by imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism and lived on the bottom of society. During the long years, Chinese seafarers have grown up in the fight against storms and have grown stronger in their struggle against reactionary forces. The rivers and lakes of the motherland have nurtured the pride of the seafarers who love the motherland and are loyal to the people. The brutal exploitation and deep oppression have shaped the strong resistance of the seafarers and the persistent pursuit of the truth. The stormy sea tests have trained the seafarers to take precautions against hardships and dangers , Indomitable spirit of courage; revolutionary struggle of wind and rain, shaping the seafarers in unison, selfless dedication of character. This lofty spirit, which is created in a special environment and constantly sublimated in the mold of the tide of the times, continues, develops, educates and inspires millions of seafarers from generation to generation of seafarers and has always stood under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party Revolutionary struggle
