Greatly influenced by his father-Chinese painting master Chen Zizhuang, Chenpainting when he was a small boy. He once -studied at Chengdu Fine Arts Secondary School, and began to publish painting in newspapers and magazines at age 17. He never stopped his brush despite all the hardships and sufferings he had gone through in his later years. In 1987, ChenJhouVue had his virgin Painting exhibition held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province in his 4os. Most of his paintings are featured by imposing manners and the sense of wit and humor, which are well illustrated in his pine tree, eagle, grotesque stones and small animals such as cattle, chicken, duck, crab and squirrel
