田在艺教授1919年生于陕西省渭南县,1945年7月毕业于原中央大学理学院地质系,是我国老一辈石油地质学家之一,曾任中国石油天然气总公司石油勘探开发科学研究院副院长,是总公司级有突出贡献的享受政府津贴的专家。他兼有很多职务,如国家自然科学基金委员会地学部委员、国家科学技术进步奖评审委员、国际地质对比计划(IGCP)及国际岩石圈联合委员会(ICL)委员等等。田在艺教授大学毕业后即奔赴祖国大西北,跟随玉门油矿创始人孙健初开展工作。1960年春节刚
Professor Tian Ziyi was born in Weinan County, Shaanxi Province in 1919 and graduated from the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Central University of China in July 1945. He is one of the older petroleum geologists in China. He was once a member of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Associate Dean, is an expert at the head office that has made outstanding contributions to government grants. He holds a number of positions including members of the Department of Earth Sciences of the NSFC, judges of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, members of the International Geological Correlation Program (IGCP) and the International Lithospheric Commission (ICL), among others.
