人们站在秀丽的峨嵋山巅,阳光从背后射来,在前方由弥漫着的密云浓雾形成的“幕帘”上,会出现人的影子或头像,影外重重彩色光环围绕,犹如宗教中佛像头上四射的光环。据此,人们称它为“佛光”或“峨嵋宝光”。其实,“佛光”与佛无缘,只是一种特定条件下形成的大气光学现象。它不仅在峨嵋山区和平原、在高空和海岸都可以看到,并且用人工的方法也能产生这种现象。我们了解一下它的成因,也就不足为奇了。
